Stuffed pork chops recipe



Recipe for stuffed pork chops in our easy pork recipes collection.

Recipe ingredients

  • 6 pork chops, 1 1/2 inches thick
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 1/2 cups toasted bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup chopped unpeeled apple
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp natural Cheddar cheese
  • 2 tablespoons light raisins
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 2 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

How to make stuffed pork chops

  • Have a pocket cut in each pork chop along the fat side.
  • Salt and pepper the insides of the pockets.
  • In a bowl toss the bread crumbs, apple, cheese and raisins together.
  • In a separate bowl combine the melted butter, orange juice, salt and cinnamon and pour the mixture over the bread crumb mixture. Mix gently.
  • Lightly stuff the pork chops with the mixture.
  • Place in a shallow baking pan.
  • Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
  • Cover lightly with foil and bake for 15 minutes more.
